According to the California court info website, the Supreme Court will “issue an opinion in three cases challenging the constitutionality of Proposition 8 at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009.”
Given that this final weekend before their decision just happens to be Memorial Day weekend, celebrating our country’s fallen heroes who died defending our Constitutional freedoms such as the Freedom of Religion and the Freedom of Speech, let’s hope that our esteemed Supreme Court Justices take time to reflect on the real-life threat that legalization of homosexual “marriage” poses to said freedoms.
Here’s to praying for the Court, the children, the future, and the future children of America.

I've heard rumors that the court is probably going to rule against us...
But I'm holding out hope that they will rule in favor of the PEOPLE. I'll be posting this in our news section on the North Bay Patriots Project site. :)
I watched the hearings and came away feeling they would rule in favor of Prop. 8. Who knows though, they could succumb to political correctness instead of following their conscience.
The core issue is not whether or not social acceptance of same-sex "marriage" is a bad thing, or if the constitution should protect the privilege of entering into a same-sex "marriage".
the core issue is the extent of how far the people can go in amending the constitution.
The people have broad powers to amend the state constitution, even going so far as to reduce the scope of Article I protections ( Frierson , In Re Lance W ) The Court would have to cast aside precedent to overturn Prop. 8 on the grounds that it is an illegitimate revision.
I hope it all works out for the best. Marriage is always between one man and one woman.
